Today we learned about how ice cream is made in Science.
The lesson inspired an impromptu field trip to the ice cream store around the corner where we learned about where their ice cream comes from and Annikah educated everyone in the store about the origin of the waffle cone (it involved the 1904 World’s Fair and running out of paper dishes FYI) .
A tasty reminder that I do love the freedom this home-school gig gives us.
