A much more simple, low-key Christmas this year. We read the story that changes everything, prayed & thanked God for all the things we are grateful for. We ate way too much breakfast and had a slow, quiet morning.
Legos were #1 gifts & we hid chocolate gold coins around the house and then the kids got to trade them for $10 or $20 bills to save.
The best part of Christmas this year was watching the kids be so excited for their siblings to open the presents they had saved & bought for them with their own money.
Evy gave Rayne a necklace that reads “Sister in heart. We’re not sisters by birth, but we’ve known from the start. God put us together to be sisters by heart.”
My family came by on Christmas Day for movie trivia & appetizers.
