We are enjoying our last few days with the Iowa clan. Crazy to think we will be sweating it out island side in just 2 weeks! That means operation spend time soaking in family and friends is in full effect. Good stuff. Here are some of our adventures so far!

we visited and shared about Africa in Joel & Silas’s schools. Even though Miss Anni Joy said she could not teach because “I will be shy Mama” she was all over it once she was there. She loved being the “expert” in all things Kiswahili! And now there is a kindergarten class full of kids who know how to say butt in Kiswahili!

family free day at the best mall ever in Iowa City- free Children’s Museum entrance, free ice skating, free kid’s meals…Yeah! Can we say ROCKIN!!!

Playtime Poppy Iowa Children’s theater…Anni LOVED it and Evy was excited her yelling was considered appropriate during audience participation times (unfortunately for the people around us she was a bit confused about which times those were)

this morning we did a park crawl as Bibi called it- we made it to two parks, flew a kite, and fed the geese and ducks! Busy us!
