I wonder if I can earn $150 to 100K

A simple product switch focusing on scalp care. You wash your hair anyway- why not get results you love? And if you find products you love why not earn an additional stream of income?

I started sharing my favorite vegan hair care after my transformation and friends asking me what I was using. I decided to just try and see and earn some extra money to pay for therapy and a occasional house cleaner after my diagnosis with MS and just reached a milestone: 100 K in commissions* because I serve my customers and help people get results! I share this not to brag but because I really never thought this was possible and I am passionate about woman having more choices and learning new skills while earning on their terms.

Have you ever wondered about adding a source of income? This will never be my main thing but as a side gig it has been a true gift.

Let’s break it down:

Affiliate Marketing- Amazon links I’ve earned $13 this year. 

UGC: I have earned around $2,000 so far (more on this coming soon).

Network Marketing- I’ve earned over $100,000 in commissions (not my sales, actual money I’ve earned over the last 5 years)* 

Just to put this in perspective: I share links and if you have ever shopped someone’s Liked To Know it or Amazon (or have your own) it is a smart way to earn a small amount when you recommend something and someone purchases through your link. The average amazon commission is 1-10% and the average LTK commission rate is 7-11%. I can earn 15-45% commission on customer sales through my NWM links (I usually earn between 20-30% plus other bonus opportunities).  Usually these other links give you on average 7% but there is also no ongoing income there because those links are for one product so to continue to earn you have to share again and again.  My customers who love the products like I do reorder and I have ongoing income from those purchases.

If you have ever wondered if this could be for you these are important things to consider in any opportunity:

• Is there a required monthly purchase?
• Is the initial investment relatively low? Is it low risk? (this was huge for me- I was willing to try and see but did not want to invest a ton up front- very different than photography which required way more up front investment)
• Do I need to carry inventory?
• Do I need to ship product?
• Is there a minimum requirement to sell to get paid?
• Do I truly love the products and know they can benefit people?
• What does the commission plan look like?
• Are you required to only promote their products- is there a non-compete?
• Is the pay for micro influencers worth your time (ie. not just for mega influencers with a huge following)
• Are the products consumable- meaning customers will reorder if they get results they love?

Tips- partner with a mentor who you respect and want to learn from and ask about the team culture (or observe for a bit first and ask the questions). This is HUGE and whenever I partner with others in business I look for an abundance over scarcity mindset and a collaborative over competitive mindset.
