ok, so in looking through a German children’s activity book for useful things I could use for shule kids Doro and I found this:
german poop pics.jpegedit
Match the crap! Is that not the weirdest thing? Why would children need or want to know this information?

We have an ongoing Wazungu ‘discussion’ AKA taunting back and forth on our team that mostly includes jabs about how we Americans have better desserts or how Germans are the only ones who really know how to make sausages. But this one I just do not get. I love Germans!

I think everyone should know which animal makes what kind of poop. What if you were in the wild and needed to know which animal is near you and how fresh the tracks are? LOL BTW, JK

Being a German I don't even get it! Too funny!

I want to know if cats in Germany really wear diapers? I'll admit that I was curious to know if I could match the crap, however I then realized there were only 4 craps but 5 animals! That's when I noticed the diaper wearing cat.

I showed this to the boys and we tried to do the activity, but there's only 4 choices of poop and 5 animals. Huh? We're confused. :/ Please share the correct answer with us. Ich habe keine ahnung…Danke!

I have never really thought about it. But we do have a German book too about a mole that tries to find out who pooed on his head. He asks all the animals and they show him how they poo only to let the flies taste his poo and tell him that it was the neighbours dog who did it. Well end of the story is that the mole poos on the dogs head and vanishes back in the earth. Weird when you think about it, but the kids love the book :o)
