You are capable of more than you know, but only if you take the leap. 👏

Tips

  •  Take on more than you can handle. Now hear me out: I am NOT saying to commit to things you have no skill in, but the only way I learned in the beginning was to jump in to bigger jobs and opportunities that were above my skill set and put in the work required to learn what I needed to learn. Learning on the job while getting paid is key- there are many opportunities where you can learn valuable skills and create diverse income streams. Don’t turn your nose up at those options because they may just be what you need to build confidence and learn the skills you need to excel.
  •  Figure out what you need to do or if you are able to hire it out. At the beginning of starting a business, it can feel hard to higher out help, but if you truly know it is not in your skill set, and you have no desire to learn to figure out how hire out the help you need so it doesn’t stop or slow your business building progress.
  • Create or join spaces to network with other entrepreneurs that are vulnerable and real and about collaboration. This is one of the main reasons we created Your Entrepreneur Hype Squad- I wanted encouragement and support women with real collaboration in the entrepreneurship space. Don’t be afraid to go first and put yourself out there.
  • Practice, serve, evaluate, adjust. Rinse & repeat. There is not a course you can buy or a shortcut you can take to actual practice that will make you get better. Become obsessed with failing forward.Bottom line: The grit you need will only come from pushing through and being committed to learning.
You can’t avoid imposter syndrome all together, but you can show up and take the action steps needed to build confidence. You are worthy of having a business you love, and you are worthy of earning & making a profit. Commit to building you biggest business asset: YOU.
  • Save this and remind yourself often if you ever feel stuck or frozen. If I can do it so can you.
    Let’s cheer each other on.
