This time was such a life giving weekend to connect with dear friends who allow me to be me and I love them for being them. These women help me follow Jesus and trust in God’s abundance through the joys and trials of life. We had such a fun adventure in Austin, Texas. It was my first time exploring in Austin and sharing some of my recommendations below from our time.
Austin made me do it- if you love funky finds head to the Buffalo Exchange– I have zero regrets in buying this velvet shirt and glittery huge sunnies!
Here are some of the fun places we hit up (mostly planned by my fabulous friend Andrea) that I recommend: The murals are so fun- we hit up some from this list plus just pulled over when we saw fun ones, Picnic Food Truck Park, Summer Moon Coffee (my fave)- they have many locations- we went to this trailer location, Super Thai take out was so good- spice level 5 was hot and so yummy, Sage Blossom for infrared sauna and massage was so nice and chill, fun taco joint with tons of pink personality is Taquero Mucho, farm to table local and speak easy vibe restaurant Hillside Farmacy (check out the bathroom for a surprise moment), Flower Child is a chain so in other states as well but I LOVE the gluten free and healthy options, dance lessons at the Broken Spoke was an adventure for sure- spicy dance leader but YOLO!
