We had a family Christmas at home on Christmas Eve before heading to the airport- for a MUCH longer airport stay then expected AGAIN- we were stuck in the South-west debacle last year (they DID not handle their business either!) and waited 7 hours and this year we finally headed out on our flight after 6 hours of waiting. We have learned our lesson- no more South-west at Christmas! We headed to Virginia Beach to see my family then on to North Carolina for a HUGE surprise! After flying back to Chicago we were home to host Jason’s family here. It was a busy holiday season but grateful for time for just us then connecting with family! Hoping your Christmas was blessed.
What a difference 5 years make!!! The teenagers though. It goes so fast.
