About a month in to my marathon training journey and I was invited to share why I am running as a charity runner for MS before my long run with CARA this morning. I have so missed the running community and it was a gift to share my why this morning.

This is my moving forward on that. I am running the Chicago Marathon as a charity runner for the Finish MS team.

You can help fight MS & can support me here.

This goal is part of that journey for me and I am joining a community of passionate people to connect and raise funds to change the world for everyone affected by multiple sclerosis. One of the things I feel called to focus on is learning to live at more peace with my body. I have felt so disconnected from my body since my diagnosis and right after I heard those words, “You have MS” I was in panic mode and thinking and feeling like my life was over. I thought, “I will never be able to do things I used to be able to – like run a marathon.” Then just a few days later I had a clear as day thought I believe was from God that “you can run a marathon again.” Yes I will! I am showing up for that goal. It is about about impressing anyone- it is about inspiring myself! Thanks for your encouragement and support!
