Some ideas:
*write a personal note to a teacher who has had an impact on your child or others and tell them why you appreciate them, add a gift card is possible
*send a note to a friend telling them why you are grateful for their presence in your life
*shovel your neighbor’s sidewalk or driveway
*Roll up to a friend’s home that is carrying a lot right now and just do their laundry or clean their kitchen
*when you pick up your grocery order add some needed items for your local pantry and drop off on your way home
*search needs on World Relief’s website for needs for a newly arriving family’s home and ask friends to join you in collecting the household needs
*send an email to an administrator or teacher telling them why a great job they are doing
*clean one of your kid’s messy room ( even though they should have done it) and leave a note and a treat on their bed reminding them they are loved
*Ask your local school if there is a need you can help with
*Call a local Assisted Living facility and see if they have a need for you to come by and play games with folks
*Buy a pack of diapers next time you are on a Target run and donate them to Safe Families for Children or a local crisis pregnancy center
