If we stay in a situation that is unhealthy or toxic without something shifting we are choosing to compromise our own values. If we are not consistent in the work that we have chosen & said is important we are not valuing our word to ourselves. If we say community is important but run from real vulnerability we cannot live it.
One key for honest, gritty growth: take radical accountability & stand in the power you have been given. Yes, there is a lot we cannot control and trusting God means not trying to assert ourselves in the place where God is leading us. AND you have been given a lot of freedom and when you feel compelled or called do the actual work of not allowing your own excuses to dictate your path. Have the courage to make decisions & act in ways that are aligned with your values.
